Description
Hesperidin is derived from the natural extract of the bitter orange family of the citrus genus. The solvent used in the production process is pure water, leaving no chemical residue. Its sweetness is 1,500 to 1,800 times that of sucrose and it can be used as a sweetener for non-calorie foods. Hesperidin can act on bitter taste receptors when the taste threshold is below, increasing the human threshold for bitterness, and its bitter-removing effect is significantly better than that of common sweeteners
